A rejoinder to: Understanding the Ogun residency tax law by Idowu Abraham
In the usual shallow, myopic and politically patronizing style of the apologists of the current government of Ogun State, one Idowu Abraham in his write up in the Punch Newspaper of Tuesday, November 8, 2011, attempting to justify compliance of the citizenry and stimulating cooperation of corporate organisations for the well-worn application of the residency rule as a strategy for boosting tax revenues in Ogun State, resorted to the vindictive, vendetta tactics and the castigating approach of the immediately preceding administration to support what he could have assailed more logical and factual reasons.
